RESIDENTS & VISITORS TIPS FOR

ENTRY & EXIT TO VOLCANNIC ZONE C

 

  • From 1st June 2013 there will be uncontrolled access to Zone C during alert level 2 but persons entering the zone must register beforehand at the Salem Police Station.
  • From 1st June 2013 there will be uncontrolled access to Zone C during alert level 2, but please remember that is visitors are found in Zone C without a Access Permit, they will be requested to leave.  
  • From 1st June 2012 there will be uncontrolled access to Zone C during alert level 2 from 8 am to 4 pm each day. Anyone going into the zone must be in a vehicle.
  • From 1st June 2013 there will be uncontrolled access to Zone C during alert level 2; however, all visitors must exit by 4:00 pm.
  • From 1st June 2013 there will be uncontrolled access to Zone C during alert level 2, sirens will sound 30 minutes before the gate is due to close for the night and on hearing the siren you should exit the zone immediately.
  • From 1st June 2013 there will be uncontrolled access to Zone C during alert level 2 and all visitors should ensure that their mobile phones are fully charged before their visit.
  • From 1st June 2013 there will be uncontrolled access to Zone C during alert level 2 but keep in mind that there is absolutely no entry into Zone V.
  • From 1st June 2013 there will be uncontrolled access to Zone C during alert level 2.  For your safety, you must evacuate Zone C if directed to do so by the authorities or if the sirens sound.

  • From 1st June 2013 there will be uncontrolled access to Zone C during alert level 2, however there will be no admittance to the geothermal site situated in Zone C.
  • From 1st June 2013 there will be uncontrolled access to Zone C during alert level 2. At any time there could be evacuation exercises from the zone so if you are asked to evacuate as part of an exercise you should do so immediately.
